Home-Based ABA Therapy

Home-based ABA therapy allows children to learn and practice meaningful skills in the comfort of their own home, where everyday routines and interactions naturally occur. Providing services in a familiar environment helps children develop skills that can be immediately applied to daily life while promoting meaningful, lasting progress.

Our clinicians work closely with families to teach communication, social, adaptive, daily living, and behavior regulation skills while providing parents with practical strategies to support continued success outside of therapy.
Every home-based treatment program is individualized, evidence-based, and designed to meet the unique needs, strengths, and goals of each child and family.

Clinic-Based ABA Therapy

Clinic-based ABA therapy provides individualized, one-on-one services in a structured learning environment designed to promote communication, social, adaptive, and daily living skills while reducing barriers to learning.

Through comprehensive assessments and ongoing progress monitoring, our clinical team develops individualized treatment plans that address each child’s unique strengths and needs. Our clinics offer engaging spaces for one-on-one instruction, social interaction, play-based learning, and group activities, providing children with opportunities to develop meaningful skills in a supportive and motivating environment.

School Support

LEAPS partners with schools to help children successfully apply the skills they learn across educational settings. Our clinicians collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote consistency, increase independence, and support each child’s academic, social, communication, and behavioral success.

School-based services may include classroom observations, behavior support, consultation, skill generalization, and collaboration with educational teams to help children participate successfully in their learning environment while working toward their individualized goals.

Community-Based Support

LEAPS provides community-based ABA services to help children apply the skills they learn in therapy to everyday situations. By practicing skills in natural community settings, children gain confidence, increase independence, and improve their ability to participate in family and community activities.

Services may include outings to parks, grocery stores, restaurants, recreational activities, and other community locations where children can develop communication, social, safety, and adaptive living skills in real-life environments.

Parent Training

Parents and caregivers play a vital role in their child’s success. At LEAPS, we believe the best outcomes are achieved through collaboration, education, and ongoing support.

Our parent training program provides families with practical, evidence-based ABA strategies to address behavioral challenges, strengthen communication, promote skill development, and support learning at home and in the community. Through regular collaboration, coaching, and individualized guidance, we empower families with the knowledge and confidence to reinforce skills, encourage independence, and support their child’s continued growth and development.

Social Skill Programs

LEAPS offers year-round social skills programs designed to help children and adolescents build meaningful relationships, improve communication, and increase confidence in social settings. Our programs provide structured, engaging opportunities for participants to learn and practice age-appropriate social skills in a fun, supportive environment.

Social skills instruction may include conversation skills, cooperative play, emotional regulation, problem-solving, perspective-taking, friendship development, teamwork, and conflict resolution through interactive activities, role-playing, games, and real-life social experiences.

Participants are thoughtfully matched based on age, developmental level, social-emotional skills, interests, and treatment goals to encourage successful peer interactions and meaningful learning opportunities.

Our social skills programs serve children and adolescents, offering both individual and group-based instruction to help participants develop the skills needed to build lasting friendships, increase independence, and successfully navigate home, school, and community environments.

Speech-Language Therapy

Our Speech-Language Pathologists provide comprehensive evaluations and individualized therapy to help children develop functional communication skills that support success at home, school, and in the community.

Using evidence-based, child-centered approaches, our speech-language pathologists incorporate play-based learning, structured intervention, and family collaboration to address each child’s unique communication needs. Treatment may focus on expressive and receptive language, articulation, social communication, pragmatic language, feeding (when appropriate), and alternative or augmentative communication (AAC).

When appropriate, therapy may include Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), sign language, speech-generating devices, and other evidence-based communication supports to help children communicate effectively and confidently.

At LEAPS, we believe communication is the foundation for learning, relationships, and independence. Our speech-language pathologists work closely with families and other members of the treatment team to ensure skills are generalized across all environments and support meaningful, lasting progress.

Telehealth Services

LEAPS offers secure telehealth services to provide families with convenient access to ABA therapy, parent training, and clinical consultation when in-person services are not appropriate or available.

Using a secure virtual platform, our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) can provide parent coaching, caregiver training, direct services when clinically appropriate, treatment plan reviews, and ongoing collaboration to help children continue making meaningful progress.

Telehealth services promote continuity of care, support skill development across home routines, and provide families with practical, individualized strategies to encourage success between therapy sessions. Our clinical team will determine whether telehealth is appropriate based on each child’s individual needs, goals, and treatment plan.

Why Early Intervention Matters

Research consistently demonstrates that early, intensive, evidence-based intervention can significantly improve communication, learning, social development, adaptive functioning, and independence.

By beginning services during the early developmental years, children have greater opportunities to develop foundational skills that support long-term success in preschool, kindergarten, home, and community environments.

At LEAPS, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to reach their fullest potential, and we are committed to helping families build that foundation together.

Our Goal

The goal of the LEAPS Early Intervention Academy is to empower children with the skills, confidence, and independence needed to thrive in everyday life.

Through evidence-based intervention, multidisciplinary collaboration, and meaningful family partnerships, we help children develop the building blocks for lifelong learning, stronger relationships, increased independence, and successful participation in their homes, schools, and communities.

Together, we’re building strong foundations for brighter futures.
